Liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS)
Liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry is a user-friendly technology that combines High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) with Mass Spectrometry (MS). It assists in therapeutic drug monitoring, detection of inborn errors of metabolism (IEM), estimation of 25-hydroxy Vitamin D, measurement of steroids, hormones, etc.

We have the most modern medical apparatus in terms of:
- We conduct Newborn Screening (NBS) by the most sensitive and accurate method for NBS, LC-MS / MS, to detect more than 40 inborn metabolic disorders. NBS should be performed for babies upto 30 days of age (ideally within 3rd to 5th day after birth)
- LC-MS / MS is used for 25 Hydroxy Vitamin D (25OHD) analysis. This method is considered to be the Gold Standard and twofold more sensitive than conventional immunoassays for Vitamin D analysis. It can accurately quantitate both 25OHD forms i.e. 25OHD2 & 25OHD3 which are essential for diagnosis and monitoring of patients with vitamin D disorders
