Cytopathology is the study of individual cells where samples are taken from body fluids or tissues and examined under a microscope. The cell samples are analyzed to look for cancerous cells. It also determines the nature and cause of disease. Cytopathology, along with histopathology is the main tool utilized in the diagnosis of cancer.
